About us

KORAMEX a.s. is a wholly Czech production company with over 20 years’ history in the field of metalworking and building works.
It is based in Sušice and operates four production facilities. Metalworking facilities are situated in Sušice, Tedražice and Čejkovy, the building work facility is based in Klatovy. Currently, the company employs over 220 people and holds the quality certificate according to ČSN EN ISO 9001. During its existence the company has established cooperation with a number of leading customers both at home and abroad.

Metalworking

Our metalworking business is mainly focused on the manufacture of welded components and assemblies according to customer provided drawings.  Our modern technology allows full processing from raw material cutting, through machining and welding to final surface treatment and installation.

The current production portfolio includes:

• switch cabinets for railway vehicle traction drives (railway wagons, engines, trams, trolley buses and subway vehicles)
• switch cabinets for installation of instrumentation and devices (e.g. in subway control centres, power plant or heating plant control rooms) - type cabinets as well as custom-made cabinets of any dimensions or designed for special purpose according to customer requirements
• railway vehicle components, industrial system components and parts
• custom metalwork (railing, staircases etc.)

Building works

Within our construction business we offer “turnkey” deliveries of construction projects including utility lines, all earthworks and surface treatment and finishing. We implement industrial buildings (production halls, warehouses) as well as residential projects. We are experienced in utility network installation (sewerage, culverts, bridges, utility line installation) and construction of paved surfaces, parking places, pavements etc.
